4. It is a religious duty (mitzvah) to personally provide for the return of a lost object to its rightful owners.

5. It is a religious duty (mitzvah) to help a neighbor whose life is in danger and one is in a position to help, or can engage the help of someone else. One is obligated to go to every trouble and expense to do so.
